We also introduce the new caliber 1575.

It was not until 1969 that the 1680/8 version in 18K yellow gold was discovered.

This version marks the beginning of Rolex in the era of the luxury sports watch.

Waterproof to 200 m, the 1680 will be produced for 12 years from 1967 to 1979 and will be replaced by the 16800 produced from 1979 to 1988.

The 1978 model presented for sale is exceptional. The distinctive "nipple" dial was originally blue but has faded to a beautiful purple sunburst color.

The 18K gold bracelet is later from 1993.
