Round case with screwed bottom and crown, smooth pushers.
Silver dial with three counters for the indication of hours, minutes and seconds, "stick" indexes applied with "point" digits and luminescent hands, 1 / 5th of a second railroad and tachymeter scale.
Mechanical movement, Cal. 72B, 17 jewels, adjusted 3 positions balance bridge bearing the inscription ROW, mono-metallic balance, shockproof.
14K gold bracelet "flat links" n ° 357/7835/19 with folding clasp signed Rolex.
Dial, case and movement signed.

Manufactured in October 1965, the watch was sold on December 14, 1966.
It comes with the original warranty dated 12.14.66 from Connoly's Michigan USA, the American Rolex Watch Corporation manual and two additional links for the bracelet.
While the 18k gold were destined for the European and Asian markets, those in 14k were delivered for the American market.
Very little 14k 6238 exists.
The reference 6238 is the last chronograph before the production of the famous Daytona.
