The 6263 models were produced from 1971 to 1988.
The 6263 could be equipped with 2nd or 3rd generation pushers. The model presented has 3rd generation pushers.
The 7mm Oyster Triplock 702 with its 3 points above the logo is original.
Characteristic of the model, the bezel is made of bakelite and graduated up to 200 units.
The 37 mm case is beautiful, thick and sharp.
The finish is satin and the bevels are pointed.
The black dial is simply splendid.
It is an original dial with the T SWISS T at 6 o'clock. The 2 Ts indicated that the indexes were covered with Tritium.
From 1998, the Tritium was replaced by the Luminova.
The DAYTONA registration comes from the famous endurance race held since 1966 on the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. It is called the ROLEX 24.
