Produced in 1975, this watch is a true collector's item.
Original “Big Eyes” dial, which means that the subdials are oversized compared to the rest of Daytona dial production. Also the “ROLEX OYSTER COSMOGRAPH” is lower on the dial than standard and the “T SWISS T ” is above the luminous dot, which is higher than the standard placement.
The 6263 models were produced from 1971 to 1988.
The 6263 could be equipped with 2nd or 3rd generation pushers. The model presented has 3rd generation pushers.
The 7mm Oyster Triplock 702 with its 3 points above the logo is original.
Characteristic of the model, the bezel is made of bakelite and graduated up to 200 units.
The 37 mm case is beautiful, thick and sharp.
The finish is satin and the bevels are pointed.
The silver dial is simply splendid.
It is an original dial with the T SWISS T at 6 o'clock. The 2 Ts indicated that the indexes were covered with Tritium.
From 1998, the Tritium was replaced by the Luminova.
Here we have a BIG EYES which is the most valuable model.
The stick style hands had a Tritium application at their ends.
The movement is a 727 manual winding Valjoux caliber.
The Oyster steel bracelet has the original reference, 7835.
The endlinks, reference 271 are original and matching to the model. Size is 19 mm.

The requirement of collectors today makes this watch a very good investment for the future because the DAYTONA, and particularly the BIG EYES is a model that is very very rare.
