The 6239 was produced from 1963 to 1969.
The main features are round push-buttons and the steel bezel with tachymeter scale.
On this 1966 model for sale, the bezel begins the graduation at 50 and indicates intervals of 1 unit to 100, 5 units of 100 to 140 and 10 units of 140 to 200 units. This is a 3rd series bezel.
The winding crown is a Twinlock 600, 6 mm diameter with the Rolex logo that is above the bar.
It’s an original 2 lines dial with the T SWISS T at 6 o'clock. The 2 Ts indicated that the indexes were covered with Tritium.
The stick hands also received an application of Tritium at their ends.
From 1998, the Tritium was replaced by the Luminova.
On the dial, the symmetrical ellipse at the base of the Rolex crown is characteristic of Singer, unique Rolex subcontractor for all manual winding Cosmographs.
