Rare 1989 Rolex Daytona reference 16528 in series L with very special 4 lines dial, extremely rare corresponding to the very first series.

All other Daytona have 5 lines of writing.

We find this dial in 1989 in USA on the first generations of Zenith automatic movement. The Zenith movement "El primero 400" replaces the movements of the manual winding Daytona manufactured from 1963 to 1988.

It is renamed 4030, after having totally changed the requirements of Rolex and deleted the date to make it more end.

This movement will equip all Daytona manufactured from 1988 until the arrival of caliber Rolex 4130 in 2000 which is always the one on the current models.

The T SWISS MADE T dial is original.

The type 1 bezel is graduated from 50 to 200 units.

The 18K gold and steel bracelet has the reference 78363 with 403 endlinks.

The proposed L-series model was manufactured in 1989. These models are very rare and represents an excellent investment.

In very good condition and 100% original, it will be delivered with its box and service papers from ROLEX.
